Software, gadgets and hardware I use

I get asked a lot about the things I use to build software, stay productive, or buy to play with and find a use for. Here’s a list of some of my favourite stuff.

Workstation

    I was using an Intel-based 14” MacBook Pro prior to this and the difference is night and day. An impressive tool for a portable machine and invaluable for cross-platform development

  • Dual Dell 23" Full HD Monitor

    Ultra sharp and bright monitor great for colour rendering and CSS Work

    My Go to Editor for Next and react based apps.

  • PhpStorm

    This powerful editor is great when I'm in Php land. With code highlighting, Having this tool in my box I can languages as easily as switching projects.

  • Sublime Text

    When I just need text edit with no frills I fall back to the faithful Sublime text.

  • ProxMox Custer

    I run a small self-hosted virtualisation cluster for testing. This lets me have Varouise OSs on hand with complete control. This cluster allows me to run Native installs and deploy containers seamlessly. Good for both testing and just playing with the latest OSs

  • Vultr

    We all have that it worked on my computer moment. I use Vulur to test applications that need extra assurance that my code can work in any environment.
